About the Author

Adalie Jordin

Writer of love stories that cost something, believer in second chances for books and people alike.

The Short Version

Hello, reader.

Adalie Jordin writes emotionally driven fiction — moody, romantic, quietly mythic stories where love and fate keep colliding. She is currently deep in the Ashenveil Duology, a two-book love story written against the sky itself.

When she isn't writing, she is rereading the books that broke her heart the first time, just to check they still can.

The Longer Version

The story so far

Adalie has always been drawn to the stories that live in the in-between: dusk instead of midnight, longing instead of possession, the moment before a choice instead of the choice itself. She started writing the way most authors do — in stolen hours, in the margins of an ordinary life — until the characters got loud enough to demand a book of their own.

Her fiction sits where romantic and literary meet. Expect love that arrives inconveniently, families with beautiful and terrible secrets, skies that seem to take sides, and endings that are earned rather than easy. Expect poppies. Expect stars. Expect to feel it.

Adalie is currently preparing a full relaunch of her work, beginning with the Ashenveil Duology and a revised edition of where it all began. This site — and the newsletter — is where that story unfolds first.

"I write the kind of love stories that ask something of you. The good ones always do." Adalie Jordin
What I Write

If you love these, you're home

Emotionally driven romance

Love stories where the feelings are the plot — slow-burning, high-stakes, and never guaranteed a soft landing.

Celestial & mythic threads

Omens, constellations, and old stories that turn out to be true — the mythic woven gently through the modern.

Literary heart

Language that earns its keep. Sentences you'll underline. Endings that stay with you long after the last page.
